Discuss with your Counselor the value of planting vegetables. Tell what are the nutritional values we get from green leafy vegetables.
Grow at least five (5) different kinds of vegetables in a family garden or in a small lot. Show some of your produce to your Counselor.
Explain the process of vegetable gardening from preparation of soil to harvesting.
Tell what are some local insects or diseases that can destroy local gardens, and the methods of controlling their growth.
Plan a vegetable gardening project to be given to your local community or barangay unit in your area. Give the procedures, where and how to get support. Carry out the project and submit to your Counselor a progress report of the development on the project.
